2 arrested in Jackson Co. on drug charges | Crime

Two Jackson County people were arrested Monday on numerous drug charges.

Sheriff’s deputies and Stevenson Police went to an apartment at Shadow Wood apartments Monday. Agents searched the unit and found cocaine, marijuana, prescription medication and drug paraphernalia.

Officials arrested Charlie Rutledge and Peggy Young.

Rutledge was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Young was charged with six counts of illegal possession of prescription medication, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
