Police: Man tried to eat drug evidence | Crime
A man will face marijuana possession and other charges in Jackson County, though officers said he tried to eat the evidence.
Matthew Scott Burchfield, 32, was stopped Sunday afternoon by Scottsboro Police for speeding.
While searching his car, police said they noticed Burchfield chewing on something.
He was ordered to spit it out and they discovered the marijuana.
