Scottsboro's Christmas Parade will be December 5th in the historic downtown court square at 5 p.m. The rain date is December 6th at 6 p.m.

Admission is free. Join in all the festivities that celebrate the reason for the season.

The floats are have the theme "A Storybook Christmas" and are being judged based on how their decorations interpret the story. All floats will line up at 4:30 p.m. on Legion Drive in front of Collins Elementary School.

If you're interested in participating, visit the Chamber and sign an entry form. Your entry form will be presented or displayed when you arrive for the line-up. The Scottsboro Police Department requires each vehicle driver to present a current driver's license.

A $10 donation is requested for each entry into the Christmas Parade. All money that is donated will go to the Community Service League Angel Tree Fund.  The Angel Tree funds go to purchase gifts for foster children in Jackson County as well as college scholarships.

Deadline for entering the Christmas Parade is December 2nd, at 4 p.m.
