JACKSON COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- A jury found Michael Anthony Bunch guilty of murder.
Bunch was accused of killing his girlfriend, Lisa Harper, in 2009.
Harper went missing in December of 2009, and her body was later found just over the Marshall County line.
Bunch was the last person to see Harper alive.
In the days after her disappearance, a detective testified Bunch offered information saying blood on his bed came from his dog and that the jacket he wore the night the pair were last seen together had been taken that morning to the cleaners.
Last week, Bunch sought to have his statements to police suppressed from the trial, but his request was denied.
