Some say big things come in small packages, and this small package stands 4'11 and weighs 82 pounds.
Tristin Stavig is a freshman at Scottsboro High School and she loves being a cheerleader.
"We just had a competition and it was awesome. We didn't win but it was really fun," said Stavig.
It's her moves away from the sidelines, though, that have many people cheering for her.
On November 16, Tristin was sitting in French class, when her teacher, Mrs. Deborah Jones, came out of her office, gasping for air.
"When I come out of the office, I was choking, and I couldn't make any sound. I was not even barely making a sound....they were all just sitting there. They were shocked, and I was thinking 'Is someone going to help me?' " said Jones.
Well, that's when Tristin sprang into action.
"I got up and I was trying to give her water, and she turned around.
