Photo Gallery | Four people arrested in Jackson Co. on drug charges

Four people were arrested in Scottsboro Thursday when deputies attempted to serve a failure to appear warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to a home on Old Larkinsville Road to arrest Charles Palmour on a failure to appear warrant.

When they got to the home, they had probable cause to search the premises. The search turned up methamphetamine, controlled pharmaceuticals, non-controlled prescription pills and druh paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested Palmour, 37-year-old Melissa Sue Palmour, 37-year-old George Mason and 25-year-old Eric Holcomb and charged them with possession of a controlled substance – meth, two counts of possession of a controlled substance – pills, illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Scottsboro Police, Hollywood Police, Alabama Game and Fish and Department of Human Resources assisted in the investigation.
