The Jackson County Sheriff's Office arrested five people after receiving a noise complaint at Cumberland Apartments in Section.

Deputies say they could smell marijuana coming from the apartment when they arrived.

Investigators report finding drug paraphernalia inside.

Officers contacted the Department of Human Resources after finding a small child inside the apartment.

Deputies arrested Phillip Clinton Ryan, Alysia Ann Townsel, Christopher Dale Wilbourne, Clinton Drue McCrary, and Shanai Mariah Riddle.

All five have bonded out of the Jackson County Jail in Scottsboro.
