Hey, hi, how ya doin'? Thanks for reading my bio.
I'm originally from the Philadelphia area, but have called the Tennessee Valley home since 2004. I spent a couple of years working in local radio news before moving to television in 2006. I spent six years at one of the other TV stations in town, before joining the WAFF team in August of 2012.
My two great passions outside of news are music and sports.. I'm a big fan of new alternative and indie rock. I'm a well known fanatic for the Phillies and Flyers and will always be pleased when my Temple Owls manage to win a football or basketball game here or there. Now that Andy Reid is gone, I will once again be cheering for the Eagles as well.
Huntsville Havoc fans probably recognize me as the "Voice of the Havoc". I've been with the team since their very first season in 2004, starting off as the P.A. announcer, then doing play by play for a couple of seasons, then going back to the P.A. booth. Here's some neat video of me calling the final seconds of the SPHL Championship victory in 2010.
Being in television, I suppose I should list a few of my favorite programs : I love America's Got Talent, 30 Rock, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Hotel Impossible, Deadliest Catch, American Dad, the Simpsons, and hey! The Office has been a lot better this year, hasn't it?
I'm married with two sons. The Brown family calls New Market home.
